After years exploring, practicing, and studying various lineages of yoga, I wanted to share my experience and passion for yoga with others. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT500) with Yoga Alliance. I am currently engaged in the ongoing study of Ayurvedic lifestyle practices. I have completed additional Restorative Yoga teaching training and a 100 hour Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counselor training program as recognized by the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA) and Yoga Alliance approved.
I am a breast cancer survivor and learned that I need to nurture and care for myself daily in ways that fill my own soul and I never realized how difficult it would be to turn inward. My dedicated mindfulness, meditation, and asana practice has been a source of tremendous strength and healing through my diagnosis and recovery.

I have been taking Kate's Yin Yoga class for about a year and I enjoy it immensely. She is well versed in the art of yoga teaching. She will demonstrate each pose and then, if needed, alternate positions with or without props. Her voice is soothing and her eyes shine with the joy of sharing her yoga practice. It has been a real pleasure taking her classes.
